Senior Technical Project Manager

EnergySavvy is looking for a Senior Project Manager for our Boston office to manage new enterprise software deployments. Our flagship product, Optix, is an energy efficiency management system that helps utilities achieve their cost-effective savings goals.

EnergySavvy is headquartered in Seattle, but we recently opened a staellite office in Boston. As the Senior Project Manager in Boston, you will be the lead project manager for all our clients in the Northeast region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to help build a startup in the Northeast.

As  Senior Technical Project Manager, you will:

• Manage new enterprise software implementations
• Gather business requirements and onboard new customers
• Collaborate with developers, program managers and customers to build useful, usable software
• Support customers with product advice on configuration and custom development
• Usher new features through the entire development cycle and drive their success
• Monitor questions and develop upstream solutions to recurring problems
• Maintain rapport with clients by proactively solving problems via phone, email, telepathy, etc. to ensure effective and delightful user experiences
• Document new features, create user guides, test new development and generally own user acceptance of new features

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline from a leading university; master’s degree preferred
• 5-7 years of technical project management or enterprise software support
• Experience with the software development process and the ability to turn customer needs into comprehensive requirements
• Patient, communicative team player that is detail-oriented and has outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, tenacity and fortitude
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple short- and long-term projects of varying scopes with customers across the country
• Ability and willingness to travel 30-50%, as needed
• Project Management Certification preferred
